McCune Kindergarten Survives!

by Dawn Kerr

McCune Kindergarten class celebrated 100 days of school.  Mrs. Kerr’s class began the day counting their 100 items each student brought from home.  Spread throughout the classroom, the children counted their items with a partner and then glued the items on a piece of paper to be displayed.  As the exciting day continued, the class counted 100 chocolate chip cookies, took 100 steps, read a book with 100 pages, did 100 jumping jacks, read a 100 day poem, connected 100 dots, and of course, ate lots of goodies(less than 100) during our “We Survived 100 Days of School” party!!  To complete the fun, the class watched 101 Dalmatians the following day.  Who knew surviving 100 days of school could be so awesome?
