Mrs. Chelsea Harper is originally from Bronaugh, Missouri and is student teaching in Mrs. Denham’s third grade classroom at Southeast Elementary. Mrs. Harper is most excited to grow as a future educator and become confident in teaching every subject area during her experience at SES. She is also looking forward to building positive relationships with her students. Her ideal teaching job would be to teach third grade in a small school. Mrs. Harper is majoring in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University.
Mr. Gavin Tracy is originally from Lee’s Summit, Missouri and is student teaching in Mr. Rocker’s Industrial Arts classroom at Southeast High School. He’s excited about learning how to finally work with students in his specific content area and his ideal teaching job would be a large woodshop industrial program in Texas, with a cross country and track coaching position. Mr. Tracy is majoring in Technology & Workforce Learning with a Minor in Wood Tech from Pittsburg State University.
Ms. Paris Stierwalt is originally from Harper, Kansas and is student teaching in Mrs. Holden’s Family & Consumer Sciences classroom at Southeast High School. Ms. Stierwalt is excited about learning how to juggle all of the aspects of classroom preparation and is looking forward to her full schedule this semester at SHS. Her ideal teaching job would be in a rural high school with a positive school culture, within a reasonable distance from Pittsburg. Ms. Stierwalt will graduate in May from Pittsburg State University with a degree in Family & Consumer Sciences Education and an emphasis in Interior Design.
