In our efforts to be as transparent as possible in how COVID-19 is affecting the district, a new menu item called “COVID-19 Dashboard” has been added to the home page of our website. This dashboard will provide non-identifying information concerning absences of students and staff and if those are COVID or Non-COVID related. This data will be reported to the county health department as well as KDHE. Other COVID-19 related information can be found on this link as well.
In the event the district is notified by the health department of a student or staff member being confirmed to have COVID-19, a press release will be made providing shareable, non-identifying information to staff and families. Confirmed cases as well as close contacts will be required to quarantine per direction of the health department. As always, we encourage you to contact your building principal or the school nurse should you have any questions.
