Meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m.

March minutes were read by Cara Kubler.  Colleen made a motion to accept the minutes and Elaine seconded.

Treasurer’s report was read by Jennifer Hutton.  The ending balance for the month of March is $3,467.62.  Rebecca made a motion to approve the report and Suzanne seconded.

Committee Reports:

• Boxtop/ Best Choice Labels:  No report
• Parent Teachers Conference:  Pizza and sandwiches were served and teachers enjoyed the food.
• T-Shirt:  Jennifer Hutton presented three designs from Bleacher Gear to choose from for the design.  The design will be available for t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies.  Will go ahead and purchase a few of each options to display at enrollment and then give away at the Back to School Bash.
• 9 weeks Party-  Brenda Waugh was reimbursed for the third 9 weeks party and there will be one more 9 weeks party at the end of the school year.

Old Business:

• Scholastic News-Has been pre-ordered for next year with an estimate cost of $830.00 and will receive a bill in September.
• Summer Movie Tickets- Available for purchase from Mrs. Denham and Mrs. Kubler for $10 and then will be available at Field Day as well.  We make 50% profit.
• SHS After-Prom donation of $25
• Mr. Walker with Fruitoramma presented fundraising options for next year.  It is 5lbs of apples, oranges, or both for $15.  Will consider as a fundraiser for next year.

New Business:

• Pennies for PTO- Collected a grand total of $631.36.  Kindergarten was the winning class and received the ice-cream sundae party and everyone else received ice-cream cups.
• Fundraising Works-  Next year need to create a committee to total the orders and money.  Need 3 volunteers to help with distributing the items when they arrive.  Cara will email members with a delivery date and will then get volunteers after a date is set.  Cara will speak with Mr. Martin and Fundraising Works to schedule the Big Bash Party.  Cara made a motion to pay half of the insurance for the party at $60.00 and Colleen seconded.  The total deposit for the fundraiser is $8260.00, with 50% of that being PTO profit.
• Back to School Bash-  Suzanne and Rebecca will create a committee of 6^th grade parents to work the BTSB next year.  Cara will talk to Mr. Martin to schedule the BTSB on Thursday,  August 22, 2013.
• Spring Activity–  Will not do anything due to busy calendars the remaining of the school year, but will proceed with the Fall Festival again next year.
• School Directory—Will create a new directory next year to include new students.
• Field Day—Scheduled for Friday, May 10^th.  In previous years a health grant has purchased bottled water for kids that day, however, if that is different PTO can provide these.  Cara will speak with Debbie Clawson in regards to the grant.
• A t-shirt design was voted on and chosen.  The shirts will be charcoal gray.  Available in long or short sleeved t-shirts and hoodies in sizes up to 4XL.  Need to add $1 for each size over 2XL.
• Carol has purchased pencils for boxtops/labels rewards for $270.90.  Suzanne made the motion to reimburse Carol the amount for pencils and Cara seconded.
• New officers were elected for the 2013-14 school year.
