Kayann Humble, 1st grader at Cherokee, placed second in a poster contest for Lab week through Girard Medical Center. It was a Kindergarten-3rd grade contest with many area schools participating. The assignment was to draw what she thought a laboratory looked like. She received a 2nd place ribbon, her drawing in a frame, and a $20.00 gift card to Toys R Us.
