J.W. Pepper Music Company generously donated recorders to all the USD 247 third grade students. Markel Porter, a sales representative with J.W. Pepper contacted Mrs. Logan in late August about the donation. Arrangements were made and Mrs. Porter delivered the recorders in early September. The district third graders are currently learning to play their recorders and will be performing a recorder number at the Christmas program on December 10, 2013.

The students were very excited when the recorders arrived and are enjoying playing them. Each student wrote a special thank you note to J.W. Pepper.
