FBLA raises money for March of Dimes

For nearly 40 years now, FBLA has adopted March of Dimes as their fundraising partner. March of Dimes’ mission is to help mothers have full-term pregnancies and research the problems that threaten the health of babies. They are committed to working together for stronger, healthier babies.

Every year at the FBLA state competition, each chapter presents a check to March of Dimes.

To raise money for this, our chapter accepted donations at our annual Chili Feed and is now putting on “Change Wars”. Change Wars consists of a week of encouraging students to donate their extra change into a bucket assigned to their class

We motivate students by rewarding the class that raised the most money with an ice cream party. Last year, at the 2013 state competition, our chapter presented a check for $450.

This year our Change Wars starts December 11th and will continue through December 18th.

If you are interested in donating, contact any FBLA member at Southeast High School. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to March of Dimes.
