Previously this year, the Southeast FBLA chapter competed in events at the District Competition in Cherryvale. We had a total of 17 members qualify to compete at the State Competition. The State Conference is always held in Topeka, KS. Members traveled there to compete in events such as Business Presentation, Public Speaking, Mr. & Ms. Future Business Leader, Digital Video Production, Advanced Accounting, & Desktop Publishing.

There were a total of ten members to place in the top ten of their event. In order to qualify for the National Competition, you must place within the top three of your event. The following seven members qualified to compete in Nashville, TN this summer: Kelsey Dietz, Amy Martin, Alex Andrews, Brytany Stewart, Nicholas Junior-Galindo, Bryce Blockburger, and Riley Ulery. These students are currently fundraising in order to completely cover their trip to Nashville.
