Welcome to 6th Grade Beginning Band!!!

Even if you don’t have your own instrument yet, there are a few things that you will need to get.

1. You need a book. The book we use is called “Essential Elements 2000, Book 1.”

When you get your book, make sure it is for the instrument you play!

2. You need a cleaning kit for your instrument.

3. If you are a clarinet or saxophone player, you will need to buy reeds. I recommend that you get Vandoren, strength 2. The people at the music store can help you get your reeds.
