NEWS RELEASE:

Southeast High School FFA Officers and Junior Officers attended a Leadership Conference hosted by the Uniontown FFA Chapter on Thursday night.  There were four other Chapters present including Humbolt, Jayhawk Linn, Fort Scott and host Uniontown.  Members took part in four different breakout sessions featuring guest speakers and Kansas State FFA Officers.

“Opportunities like this present excellent opportunities for our students to meet others, learn more about successful FFA strategies, and develop leadership skills,” says SHS FFA Sponsor Scott Sutton.

Those attending were Officers Phillip Underwood, Jarod Watson, Laura Yancey, Jacob Zortz, Megan Gall and Junior Officers Erin Horgan, Kalyn Bitner, Truman Buckley, and Jacob Wyckoff. SHS FFA Advisor Scott Sutton and SHS Biology Teacher Sara Sutton attended the conference with the students.
