Fundraisers generate more than $3,500 for Southeast FFA
Homecoming was a big night for the Southeast FFA.
“We sold over 200 BBQ dinners and made approximately $800,” says Southeast FFA sponsor Scott Sutton. “A huge thank you goes out to the Rod Watson family for cooking and donating 80 pounds of brisket and pork. Also, thank you to the Underwood family for cooking and donating the potatoes and green beans. Finally, thank you to the Carla Thompson and Pam Yancey families for cooking and donating the desserts.”
The Southeast FFA also announced its Hog raffle winner that night. The fundraiser generated more than $3,100 for the FFA.
“We eclipsed last years total of $2,850 in ticket sales as we sold $3,125 worth of tickets this year,” Sutton says. “High sellers for our chapter were Jarod Watson with 260 sold, Brody Tickel with 210 sold and Alli Markley with 205 sold.”
