The Junior/Senior Southeast FFA Floriculture team placed 2nd at Saturday’s Southeast Kansas District FFA Career Development Event.  Leading the way for Southeast was Megan Gall who was the 2nd high individual, Laura Yancey finished in a tie for 3rd, Madison Thompson was 6th and Ashton Coltrane was 9th.  With the 2nd place finish, the team qualified for the Kansas State FFA Competition to be held on Sunday, May 3rd in Manhattan, KS.

The Freshman/Sophomore Southeast FFA Floriculture team had a nice day as well finishing 3rd in their respective division.  Laura Ridings was the top medal earner placing 9th individually and Wyntr Jacobs finished 10th.

Daisy Burns and Hannah Williams were also on the team, but finished just outside the top ten.
