Watson places 5th, Gall 7th at Kansas State FFA Contest

Megan Gall placed 7th individually to lead the Southeast FFA Chapter Food Science team to a 5th place finish at the 2015 Kansas FFA State Career Development Event held in Manhattan this past Sunday through Tuesday. There were 62 teams and 225 contestants. Other team members contributing to the 5th place finish was Katharina Jens, Ashton Coltrane and Ryan Rakestraw.
Jarod Watson placed 5th individually to lead the Southeast FFA Chapter Agribusiness Management team to a 6th place finish at the 2015 Kansas FFA State Career Development Event. There were 26 teams and 96 contestants. Other team members contributing to the 6th place finish were Phillip Underwood, Aaron Westervelt and Jacob Zortz.
The rest of Southeast FFA’s state qualifying teams will compete at the Kansas FFA State Convention held May 27th through the 29th, also in Manhattan, KS. Competing at convention will be Freshman Daisy Burns in the Creed Speaking Contest, Zoey Ball in the Job Interview contest, Phillip Underwood in the Star Farmer Contest and the Freshman Parliamentary Procedure team consisting of Eric Underwood, Laura Ridings, Daisy Burns, Jacob McGuire, Wyntr Jacobs and Hannah Williams.
