Dear Southeast Elementary Families,

I can’t believe it is December and the end of the 1st semester will be here in a couple of weeks. I don’t know where the time goes. December is going to be a busy month for SES. Below are the activities we have planned.

Activities:
12/08 Christmas program at the high school 6:30 p.m.
12/08 Kindergarten goes bowling for reading counts in the afternoon
12/12 1st & 2nd grades go bowling for reading counts in the afternoon
12/13 2nd grade will go to Columbus for caroling during the day
12/15 1st grade food drive ends and will be delivered locally
12/15 3rd & 4th grades go bowling for reading counts in the afternoon
12/16 Classroom Christmas parties in the afternoon; classroom teacher will send out time
12/16 End of first semester.

All students will need socks when they go bowling. NO money will be needed. Snacks will be purchased from carnival funds and PTO funds.

I want to thank everyone who came out to our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed having you here. The students are thrilled that you come and eat with them. The 4th grade students did a fantastic job in helping with the dinner. It was a good day for all involved.

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a great, relaxing break.
School will resume on Jan. 4, 2017.
