Students Attend Blithe Spirit

On Wednesday, October 18 students from the Southeast Drama and Forensics team traveled to Pittsburg State University to watch the play, Blithe Spirit. Blithe Spirit tells the hauntingly humorous story of what happens when an eccentric medium conjures up the dead first wife of the successful novelist, Charles Condomine and the lengths he will go to to exorcize the troublesome spook.

Following the play was a short question and answer period with the cast and crew. The experience gave students a chance to watch a live theatrical performance and to visit with those who put it on. For some of the students, this was their first time watching a live play. It was a great experience for all involved, and I wish to thank the district for allowing us to go.
