On Oct. 25th, Mrs. Evitts took a group of art students to the Wichita Art Museum. Meg Powers née Gall, 2015 SHS graduate, is currently the museum’s Development Associate and was one of the docents for the students’ museum tour. They were able to see a variety of American art works, including pieces by Dale Chihuly, Mary Cassatt, and Kehinde Wiley. The following students participated: Kalei Campbell, Kaycen Baylor, Kassidy Fox, Storm Miner, Daphne Tavernaro, Macy McReynolds, Teagan Warner, Kymbree Martin, Sooner Royer, Kilynn Banke, Macie Herron, Sandra Robinson, Ash Stark, Gabby Wright, Ethan Becker, Keaton Harrison, JM Fatalla, Hailey Kautz, Jackie Robinson, Kylei Sullivan, Callie Hudson, Melea Mitchell, Leah Reynolds, and AJ Gray. Mrs. Gibson and Mr. Butler also assisted with the tour and students. A wonderful time was had by all!
