CHEROKEE – They arrive for a meeting, at least once a month, between 5:30 and 6:00 pm and they stay until the job is done; serving as our education advocates. There are some months where they meet several times, making crucial decisions for our district, and they do it without complaint or compensation. Our board members are committed to the students, staff, and families of USD 247. They are our SCHOOL BOARD HEROES!!
