Three freshmen business students competed at the Cherokee County Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge hosted by Galena High School on Thursday, March 7th. Hudson Locke presented his business idea Run Rack. Henry Burns presented his business idea BBQ Out The Park. Melea Mitchell presented her business idea Baked ICE. Students had to write an executive summary, do a 4 minutes presentation to the judges and design a table top display. 29 student business ideas were on display from Galena, Riverton, Columbus and Southeast. Hudson took 3rd place overall and received $750.
