CHEROKEE and WEIR – “Today is School Lunch Hero Day! This is the day we show appreciation for our Food Service Staff. I have six wonderful ladies that work for me and they are truly School Lunch Heroes. They have so much compassion for the work they do, from preparing meals for students here at Southeast to building relationships with staff and students. This kind of work requires special people. They are usually at work before any other staff and sometimes are the first staff the students see. These ladies work hard and rarely miss work. I have had the privilege of working with these ladies and being their supervisor for the last nine years. I am very grateful for each and every one of them.
