Southeast Employee Recognition for 2023-2024
CHEROKEE – On May 14, 2024, numerous Southeast staff members and guests of retirees enjoyed a spring atmosphere, upbeat music, and a wonderful meal. After dining, many staff members were recognized.
Years of Service Awards

Special Recognition Award
Regina Henderson, interlocal paraprofessional, retired this year and was recognized for her 21 years of service.
Joyce Jacobs was presented with the KSPTA (Kansas State Pupil Transportation Association) Distinguished Service Award.
Ashley Hobbs was recognized for her almost achievement in parking between the lines, and we have the photo to prove it! Look how she proudly displays her award!
Classified Customer Service Award
Any employee (certified or classified) can nominate any classified employee for this award. Retirements
There were five retirements this year: Melody Brennon – 10 years, Colleen Renn – 19 years, Gaye Clark – 22 years, Carla Lewis – 26 years, and Brenda Waugh – 37 years. They will be greatly missed, and we wish them the very best!
