SHS Seniors Attend College & Career Fair
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, a few Southeast High School seniors attended the College and Career Fair at Northeast High School.
The Rural Outreach Education Program works with rural schools to bring colleges and businesses to school campuses. Northeast High School hosted and invited area schools to allow 7-12 graders the experience of meeting colleges and business representatives. This allowed students to meet with stakeholders one-on-one, ask questions, and explore possible career opportunities.
It is imperative for students to understand and know the possibilities for post-secondary education and network with professionals in a variety of businesses.
Tawnya Bach, KOAM news anchor, was one of many professionals showcasing local careers. She provided students the opportunity to ask questions while sharing her road to success.
Seniors, Bella Tavernaro and Kymbree Martin, snapped a photo with a local celebrity.
