SHS Science Trip to Hutchinson

On November, 15th, Mrs. White and Mr. Butler took Earth & Space Science, Physics, and Scholars Bowl students to Hutchinson, KS on a science club field trip. The classes went on a tour of Strataca, an underground salt mine and museum located 650 feet below the surface, and to the Cosmosphere.

The Cosmosphere is an international science education center and space museum. The students went on a tour, watched science demonstrations, and participated in a science lab where they made their own batteries. It was a very fun and educational day! The students and teachers all enjoyed it.
