“Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s our School Board!!” They may not wear capes (that we know of), but they do spend countless hours reading material, researching, negotiating, and doing what is best for our students, staff, families, and communities. Our school board members are the behind-the-scenes heroes for everyday decisions regarding our district and those that are a part of it. They volunteer for these positions because they are a part of the same community and truly care, and want the district to not only survive, but to thrive.
