WEIR – The USD 247 School Board had a special visitor at their meeting Monday night, January 13, 2025. Miss Zoe Friemel, a 4th grader in Mrs. Jenny Lynch’s class, entertained them by reading a book she wrote and illustrated, “The December Hound.” Zoe was inspired to create her book after a local author, Jana Yankoviz Dalrymple, visited students at the Southeast Elementary School.
