CHEROKEE – Junior Ash Stark had her poem chosen and published in the 2025 Rising Stars Collection published by Appley. Her poem is titled, “A Time for Love.” She was one of two Southeast students from English III to submit entries, and the only Southeast student to earn publication. Ash read her poem for those in attendance at the March 10, 2025 school board meeting and did a wonderful job.
