SHS Students Compete at HOSA State Conference
Southeast High School HOSA students attended the State HOSA Conference in Manhattan, Kansas earlier this week. HOSA students participated in healthcare competitions and had some success along with a lot of good finishes, but fell short of the podium. Junior, Kimber Kratz, finished in the top ten in all three of her events. Junior, Lyla Oehme, was a top ten finisher in Sports Medicine. Senior, Natalie Wells, was a top five finisher in Occupational Therapy. Senior, Teagan Warner, and Junior, Braelyn Sutton, finished top ten in creative problem solving.
Junior, Chloe Guymon placed first in the Organizational Leadership. Chloe was also selected to be a Voting Delegate for Kansas State HOSA. Warner won the outstanding HOSA student award and will be honored at the HOSA International Leadership Conference. HOSA currently has 1600 plus students registered and Warner was the one selected for this award!
Mr. Wydick, HOSA Advisor, was selected as 1 of 4 recipents for Advisor of the Year!
