Eliz White Track and Field

By Laney Lawson/ Nick Cheney
5th place at State and another school record in both the 800m and the 4x800m! What an amazing and fun ride the last 4 years have been! She also Tied the School Record for the Most State Medals in a Career on the Girls side.
If there was a school wide versatility award, this girl would 1,000% win it! She literally does it all and not just during track season! I watched for 4 years as she would balance both softball and track practice on a daily basis! Some days that meant she, (and her other duel sport teammates) were some of the last people to leave the school as they had a running workout after they completed their softball practice. On softball game days she would get her runs in on a treadmill as often as she could. She never complained and she was always a positive role model to those around her. She never cut corners even when it would appeared that no one was watching. She was a 4 time state qualifier, a 3 time state medalist and broke more school records during her career than I can count and yet never boasted about it. Eliz is going to do great things wherever she goes. She will be running Cross Country and Track at PSU next year.
