FBLA Business Competition at MSSU
On Thursday, November 6th, 17 FBLA members kicked off competition season with the first event at MSSU in Joplin. Over 650+ students were in attendance and schools were divided by student population size. Southeast was division 3 with schools under 200 students.
The following students placed in the top 3 of their events:
*Henry Burns – 2nd in Accounting II
*Hudson Locke – 2nd in Business Communications
*Nathan Guison – 3rd in Management
*Journee Rimmer & Melea Mitchell – 2nd in Management Decision Making
*Chris Archey – 3rd Website Design
*Hudson Locke – 2nd in Business Pitch out of All divisions plus an invite to compete in Pitch Palooza in April.
This was an excellent way to kick off competition season. District Competition is next in January with the opportunity to compete at State in Topeka.
