CHEROKEE – During a regularly scheduled USD 247 Southeast school board meeting on December 8, 2025, Trista Shuster was recognized and thanked for her 8 years of service on the school board. School Board President, David Stricklin, presented Mrs. Shuster with a plaque and expressed appreciation for her dedicated service to the district. Superintendent, Dr. Miner, stated, “Mrs. Shuster has been a tremendous advocate for USD 247 and always based her decisions upon what is best for students, staff, and the district. She also approached “opportunities” head on and with deliberate thought and consideration. She is very well respected and will greatly be missed!”
