CHEROKEE — The USD 247 Board of Education has scheduled a work session for Monday, February 16, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Board Office.

As a follow-up to the recent closure of the main building on the Southeast Elementary School campus, the purpose of the work session is to discuss possible grade-level reconfiguration options for the 2026–2027 school year. The Board will also discuss the future of the closed building.

No action will be taken during this meeting.
