SHS Choir Performs at Crestwood Country Club
On Friday, February 6, the Southeast High School Choir performed at a luncheon at Crestwood Country Club. The full ensemble sang four songs: “Green Grow the Laurels” by Jason Meyer, “Riversong” by Andy Beck, “Poor Wayfaring Stranger” arranged by Jerry Estes, and a french madrigal called “Je Le Vous Dirai” arranged by Sherri Porterfield. Junior Breanna Reynolds (soprano) and Junior Hudson Locke (bass) also performed as soloists. Breanna sang “Sing Me to Sleep” by Edwin Greene, and “O Mio Babbino Caro” by Giacomo Puccini. Hudson sang “Leave Me In Sorrow” by George Frederic Handel, and “Money O” by Michael Head.
