The USD 247 Board of Education is exploring potential changes to grade-level configurations across the district. One option under consideration would:

• Close the PreK–2 attendance center in Weir and move those students to the middle school in Cherokee.
• Relocate 7th and 8th grade students to the high school.

Before making a final decision, the board has scheduled a special meeting:
