On Sunday afternoon, these 3 students, along with their adviser, Cherie Witt, set off to the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Topeka, KS, for 2 days. Opening Ceremonies began at 8:30 am on Monday, and events started shortly after. Henry Burns is a 3-time state qualifier in speaking events. This year, he teamed up with Chris Archey, a first-time state qualifier, in Website Design. They have already made finals in their event and will be presenting their website at 12:40 pm today. Hudson Locke is also a 2-time state qualifier and is competing in Entrepreneurship this morning with the potential to make finals in his event and present tomorrow morning. All three students have individual tests this afternoon that they placed highly in at Districts.
