Southeast High School art students recently showcased their talent at the TRL Art Fair in Uniontown on April 1. Mrs. Evitts, Southeast High School Art Teacher, took 10 students to compete, where they submitted artwork for judging and participated in on-site competitions.

The following students earned awards:

• Ash Stark – 2nd Place, “Phog”, Mixed Media 3-D
• AJ Hudson – 1st Place, “Cub”, Sculpture Assembled
• Nicole Clausen – 2nd Place, “Evening Softness”, Watercolor Painting
• Shaylene Sossman – Honorable Mention, “Unexpected Visitor”, Printmaking
• Emma Denham – 2nd Place, “Galactic Kitten”, Printmaking
• Emma Denham – Honorable Mention, “Child’s Play”, Oil Pastel & Pastel Drawing
• Ethan Becker – 2nd Place, “Circle”, Acrylic & Tempera Painting
• Sydney Walls – 2nd Place, “The Lasanscen Monkeys”, Computer Art & Graphic Design
• Emma Denham – 1st Place, “Mushroom Moonscape”, Carved Sculpture
