Southeast students participate in 2014 Gorilla Games

On Friday, April 4th a group of Southeast High School students competed at the 2014 Gorilla Games hosted by Pittsburg State University.

The group was made up of Technology Student Association (TSA) students and woodshop students. The students participated in a number of technology events including photography, video production, web design, graphic arts, robotics, home design, C02 dragster design, and woodworking. The following Southeast High School students were recognized at the Gorilla Games award ceremony.

Tommy Dey – Woodworking – 1st place
Tyler Woods – Woodworking – 2nd place
Joely Gath – Photography – 2nd
Rachel Bole & Olivia Powell – Desktop Publishing – 1st place
Amy Martin & Zoey Ball – Website Design – 1st place
Nick Junior-Galindo & Caleb Thompson – Video Production – 1st Place

Also during the awards ceremony, Bryce Blockburger won a $500 scholarship to Pittsburg State University.
