As some of you may have noticed when driving by the high school, you’ve been welcomed to the “Home of the Lancers” by the Southeast FFA Chapter. With part of the FFA Motto stating, “living to serve”, they decided to help improve the campus and help make it more inviting to the public by placing a welcome sign near the highway.
The 7th & 8th hour Ag classes dug the holes, put the sign together, placed the sign and poured the concrete.
This opportunity was a great experience for the classes to learn and also for them to help improve our school independently.
The Southeast FFA Chapters has made community service one of their top priorities for the coming year, and look forward to many other opportunities to accomplish this throughout the year.
