It’s common for staff to give their boss a present at Christmastime but the staff at Southeast Elementary School made their boss work for it on Thursday.
Principal Tammie Hall solved rhyming riddles, a crossword and even a math puzzle as she crisscrossed the school’s campus until finally finding her gift in the staff lounge. Principal Hall’s reward was a gift card and lots and lots of chocolate.
“Making her find it was OUR gift,” said an anonymous staff member.
The admitted chocoholic said she is very grateful for her staff at the school and is thankful for the gifts.
Still feeling a little under the weather she did add with a grin that there will be payback for the workout.
