On Monday October 12, the Morning Pre-Kindergarten, and 1st and 2nd Grades visited the Wood Farms Pumpkin Patch. On October 21 the Afternoon Pre-Kindergarten, and the 2nd and 3rd Grades spent the afternoon at Wood Farms Pumpkin Patch.
Paid for using from the Southeast PTO and last year’s School Carnival, students played in a corn seed pile, had a hay ride through a “spooky trail” (term used very loosely), ran through a corn maze, and of course picked pumpkins. While none of the kids were scared going through the “spooky trail”, it did turn into a “screaming contest”, and the preschoolers now probably think the older kids are more crazy than cool.
This year’s School Carnival has been scheduled for November 6 at Southeast Elementary School.
