March and April, 2016

Dear Southeast Elementary Families,

March started out busy with state testing and parent/teacher conferences. Testing will continue into April for the 3rd and 4th grade students over math and English language arts. We had a high percentage of parents come to the conferences. Thank you for coming. It is always a pleasure to see you.

Below are the activities for the rest of March along with the activities for April.

Our March events:
03/22-23 Kindergarten screening for students that will be in kindergarten in the fall
03/22 3rd grade to Greenbush all day
03/24 All students will attend a play at Memorial Hall ($1).
03/25-28 No school.
03/29 Teddy Bear Clinic for 1st and 2nd grade
3/31 Pre-K roundup/screening. Please call the office to make an appointment.

Our April events:
04/05 PTO meeting at 6:00 p.m.
04/08 1st grade to Greenbush all day
04/12 4th grade to Greenbush all day
04/13 All students will attend a play at Memorial Hall ($1).
04/14 3rd grade to clean up Weir City Park for community project
4th grade to Columbus for Earth day activities.
04/15 2nd grade to Greenbush all day
04/21 Spring program at 6:30 at high school gym
04/22 Career Day various occupations will be on display for the students to visit
04/26 Reading counts bowling for 1st and 2nd grades; wear socks/no money needed
04/28 Reading counts bowling for 3rd and 4th grades; wear socks/no money needed
04/29 3rd grade to PSU

May save the date:
05/10 Awards ceremony and field day (May 12th make up day if needed)
