Homecoming schedule of events (Oct 10-14)

October 10 through October 14 is Homecoming Week for Southeast, who hosts the Riverton football team that Friday night. The schedule for the week is as follows:

Monday, October 10: Southeast High School students are asked to wear their Class Colors during the school day: Freshmen – grey, Sophomores – white, Juniors – blue, and Seniors – black.

Also, on Monday, is the only varsity volleyball games Southeast is hosting this year so this will be Senior Night. SHS will be hosting a quad in the east gym. Columbus, Frontenac and St Paul are scheduled to participate. In the west gym, the junior high volleyball team will be hosting Riverton. Games start at 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 11: SHS students are being asked to dress as twins. The best duo will win tickets to the Homecoming Dance on Friday.

Wednesday, October 12: SHS students are being asked to wear old school sweats and sneakers to school.

Also, on Wednesday, the Southeast FCA chapter is hosting the FCA Fields of Faith at Carnie Smith Stadium on the campus of Pittsburg State University. Brett Runge, Gabriel Balk and Karen Campbell are the guest speakers, with OCC’s “frontline” performing. This event is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursday, October 13: SHS students are being asked to dress like their dad.

Friday, October 14: SHS students are being asked to dress in throwback Lancer jerseys. The Southeast FFA chapter is hosting a Hamburger & Hot Dog fundraiser from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Coronation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.  Kickoff versus Riverton is at 7:00 p.m.  The Homecoming Dance for Southeast 9th-12th graders will follow the game and end at 11:45 p.m.
