The Wax Museum has returned to Southeast. For those unfamiliar with the Wax Museum: (1) students select a historical figure, research that individual, put together a display, a costume and a short speech that they must memorize; and, (2) the student takes the role of that character in a museum type setting – each with their own pose – and other students visit it, pressing a paper button to activate the speech.
This year’s Wax Museum featured Leonardo Da Vinci, President Dwight Eisenhower, Steve Jobs, Mary Koeford, Elvis Presley, Art Rooney and Babe Ruth. Southeast Junior High students toured the Wax Museum on Friday December 9. Southeast Elementary students will visit next week.
