ELEMENTARY PTO MINUTES
November 1st, 2016

Present: Dorothy Smith, Tammy Hall, Elaine Humble, Katie Locke, Jackie Scott, Carla Lewis,
Cyndee Martin and Amanda Collingsworth

Dorothy Smith called the meeting to order at 6:10pm.

Katie Locke motioned to approve minutes. Jackie Scott 2nd.

Treasurer’s Report- Elaine Humble

• Beginning Checking Balance- $6601.79
• Ending Checking Balance- $5497.73
• Savings Account Balance- $4.36

 

• $969.41- Scholastic
• $28.84- Walmart- used to purchase donuts for 4th grade (compensation for pumpkin
  patch)
• $105.81- Rons- Food for Parent Teacher Conference

Amanda Collingsworth motioned to approve treasurer’s report. Dorothy Smith 2nd.

Old Business:

• T-shirts
  • orders due November 11th and will be received in time for Christmas (approx. Dec 2nd)
  • Will be displaying samples and taking orders at Carnival
• School Carnival- November 4th 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • PTO serving food 5-7pm

  • PTO will give each student a free $5 book
  • Teachers will make wish list to be hung on doors
