Five Southeast High School students have qualified for the State Solos & Small Ensembles Music Festival that will be held April 29 at Southeast Saline in Gypsum: senior Madison Westervelt, junior Robyn Nabors, sophomores Amanda Becker and Peyton Simpson, and freshman Blaise Prewitt.

The students qualified for State by receiving I’s at the Regional Music Festival: Solos & Small Ensembles held Saturday April 8, 2017 at Pittsburg State University.

Southeast students receiving I’s and qualifying for State are: Southeast Vocal Trio, Mixed Vocal Ensemble – Amanda Becker, Peyton Simpson & Madison Westervelt; Blaise Prewitt, Tenor/Bass Vocal; Amanda Becker, Treble Vocal; Madison Westervelt, Treble Vocal; Robyn Nabors, Treble Vocal; and, Peyton Simpson, Tenor/Bass Vocal.
