Girls take 2nd place at CNC League meet (again); Jackson wins 2 championships

GIRARD, Kan. – Despite having only 10 competitors, the Southeast Girls Team took 2nd place for the second year in a row at this year’s CNC League Meet. The team tied St. Mary’s Colgan for 2nd.

At the CNC Track & Field Meet held Friday May 12, 2017, the team was led by Southeast sophomore Sailor Jackson broke her own school record in the Girls Pole Vault, clearing 9’6″ to take 1st place… her 2nd CNC Championship of the day. Earlier, she won the Girls Javelin, and took 3rd place in Girls High Jump.

Boys Javelin – Truman Buckley, 5th.
Boys Long Jump – Jett Gall, 6th.
Boys Triple Jump – Jett Gall, 6th.
Boys 4×800 Meter – Southeast team, 5th.
Boys 110 M Hurdles – Jarrett Brumback, 4th.
Boys 300 M Hurdles – Jarrett Brumback, 4th.
Boys 800 M – Jake Wyckoff, 5th.

Girls High Jump – Sailor Jackson, 3rd.
Girls Javelin – Sailor Jackson, 1st.

Girls Shot – Cady Lloyd, 4th.
Girls Triple Jump – Sarah Clausen, 4th; and, Jordan Jameson, 5th.
Girls 4×100 – Southeast team, 5th.
Girls 4×400 – Southeast team, 5th.
Girls 100 M Hurdles – Sarah Clausen, 3rd; and, Saydi Sullivan, 5th.
Girls 800 M – Jessie Jenkins, 5th.
Girls 1600 M – Jessie Jenkins, 4th.
Girls 3200 M – Jessie Jenkins, 4th.
