The Southeast High School National Honor Society inducted thirteen members on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Membership in the National Honor Society is one of the highest honors that can be awarded to a high school student. The NHS has worked hard to bring the accomplishments of outstanding students to the attention of parents, teachers, peers and the community. There are rules for membership that are based upon a student’s outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. These 4 criteria for selection form the foundation upon which the organization and its activities are built.
Southeast High School NHS members are active in community service projects such as Salvation Army’s Ringing the Bells and the Relay for Life. Members provide their time throughout the year to help the community and our school.
