Southeast Forensics continued its winning ways with results at two recent tournaments. On Saturday, March 30, students competed at the Frontenac Invitational Tournament. Freshman Kamela Frevele earned 6th place in Dramatic Interpretation. Sophomore Micah Uber placed 6th in Humorous Interpretation. Senior Megan Colvin won 1st place in Prose, her second such finish in as many tournaments. Senior Peyton Simpson captured 2nd place in Dramatic Interpretation, qualifying him for the state tournament later this spring.
On Tuesday, April 2 a small group of students traveled to Pleasanton to compete at a tournament there. Freshman Rowdy King advanced to finals in Prose where he placed 6th overall. Sophomore Kaiya Hutto placed 1st and 2nd in Dramatic Interpretation and Poetry, respectively. The team travels next to Fort Scott on Saturday, April 6.
