Members of the Southeast Forensics Team competed at the KSHSAA 2A State Forensics Tournament on May 3-4. Senior Peyton Simpson advanced to semifinals in Serious Solo Acting, placing him in the top 12 in the state. Sophomore D’Kayia Hutto advanced to the final round of competition in both Serious Solo and Poetry. D’Kaiya finished in 4th place in Serious Solo and 5th place in Poetry. Other students competing in the state tournament included Robert Graham in Extemporaneous Speaking, Lillian Green and Micah Uber, both in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
