Sundown Jacobs was sworn in as a Southeast USD 247 school board member on Jun 27, 2011.  In July of 2016, he became the school board’s vice president and will hold that position until January 14, 2020 when he plans to step down.

Sundown has been dependable, supportive, and loyal…a true Lancer fan!  His passion for achieving our district goals, doing what is best for every single student, and positioning us for a bright future is contagious.

We want to thank Sundown for his selfless dedication and service, for bringing out the best in our district, and always striving for “Success through Excellence:  Everyone, Everywhere, Everyday.”

Note:  Sundown’s successor is Jenna Pritchett, and she will be sworn in at the January board meeting.
