On December 18, 2019, USD 247 received a $3,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas.  Dr. Miner, Superintendent, was presented with a check and a box of cookies from Harvey Dean, CEO and Founder of Pitsco, and Lisa Paterni, President of Pitsco in Pittsburg.  This grant was provided by the Champions for Learners Fund.  Dr. Miner commented, “We are very grateful to receive the grant and for the supporting partnerships we have with area businesses and  organizations.”  We would like to thank Pitsco and the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas for their generous contribution.
