Southeast Participates in Girl to Engineering Day at PSU

“On Thursday, February 20th, Southeast High School students Skylar Zortz, Alison Gardner, Madison Warner, and Kaylee Mutz attended the first Girl to Engineering Day at Pittsburg State University!  They learned about the degree and career opportunities available through PSU for women in STEM areas, heard from current PSU female students enrolled in Engineering departments, and learned about coding.  Kaylee also received a Smart Buddy from Pitsco.

Our girls will teach our elementary students to program and code Maria, the Smart Buddy won by Kaylee in a drawing from Pitsco.” – Debbie Clawson, Southeast High School Vice Principal
